Day 3 – Sunday 19 June 2016 – Horsham – Mildura

Not much sleep unfortunately worrying a little too much about where to from here.  Our new auto electrician arrived around 10.00am and spent over an hour looking into our issues.  It seems AE#1 made a nice little profit by replacing our top quality electric braking system with a cheap Chinese knockoff while charging us top price (#1) and also not really checking what he was doing as evidently it wasn’t wired properly and was never going to work (#2).  So in an hour and a half lots of reworking was done and we finally set off with not only working brakes but a working fridge and rangehood and a clear idea of where we are at with everything caravan electrical.   If I ever need anything wired up in future I’m coming to Horsham .  Oh – unfortunately though – another $265.

So we soldiered on to Mildura without actually breaking anything additional which was a relief.   I’m hoping tomorrow brings better fortune and a feeling of actually being on holidays!

This – however – was the view from my door this morning - a poor old magpie and not a breadcrumb to share with him!
